The holidays—they’re filled with food, family, gifts…and sales. Oh yes, sales. A couple of the biggest sales would have to be no other than Black Friday, Small Biz Saturday and Cyber Monday. If you’re not up for the crowds and chaos of Black Friday and Small Biz Saturday, then Cyber Monday might just be the perfect route for you. Just imagine, all the exact same discounts and the exact same products are only a mouse click away.
This year I just had to give myself an enormous pat on the back due to all money I saved during Cyber Monday. Why? For starters, I decided to visit one of my favorite clothing website, Rowme.com, seeing as I’m running low on new pieces to contribute to my already overflowing wardrobe (blame it on outstandingly worthy bargains at the thrift store). As the site came into focus my eyes widen in shock and amazement. Not only was I going to get 30% off on already marked down items but there was a buy-one-get-one-half-off deal as well.
After about thirty minutes and $85 later, I decided to purchase a pair of stellar, burgundy ankle booties which have been on my list of must-haves for quite some time now. I then retorted to purchasing two black baby-doll dresses, a pair of printed leggings and a couple of pieces of jewelry. Usually, this many items would set me back a mere $230, I’m almost sure of it. But since I got the buy-one-get-one-half-off deal, not to mention the 30% off of already marked down pieces, I scored big time.
I didn’t stop there. I decided to check out Amazon. I’ve been in dire need of a green utility jacket that is thick enough to keep me from turning into a Popsicle this winter. It’s the perfect piece for any trendy fashion blogger out there. As the website came into focus I noticed there were some great deals and discounts going on just like the websites prior. One big bonus that caught my eye was the free shipping.
I cannot tell you how much I’ve spent on shipping which is one of the larger reasons why I don’t shop online. That and not being able to truly see how something fits and looks. But the deals trumped that. I ended up finding an amazing green utility jacket from Valcom which was fur lined and appeared to be pretty warm.
Luckily there were only a couple left and to my surprise, my size was in stock. What was more remarkable was how much it was going for. All you fashionistas might want to sit down for this because it might just knock you off your feet. The jacket was only going for fifty bucks. Yup, you read it correctly. Five. Zero. 50.
I think the jacket would have to be the best piece of clothing I ever spent money on. Well that’s not entirely true, there was this one time where I spent a great deal of money on this very gorgeous vintage Chanel broach. That however is another story for another time.
I hope you all found exactly what you were searching for and if not, there’s always The White Sale after Christmas. I’ve already marked my calendar!
