Glitter Glam Pop-Up Shop: Kita Williams of Bella Contessa Designs

Kita Williams and her gorgeous line from Bella Contessa Designs are no strangers to the DC area, so make sure to check her out at our Glitter Glam Swap & Shop!

What do you sell?

Bella Contessa Designs consists of a handmade jewelry line, vintage clothing accessories & home decor items.

Where can I find your product?

I usually do vendor events around the DC area. Also online On Facebook and etsy!

Where do you get your inspiration?

I get my inspiration from everyday people. I want to make jewelry and carry pieces that people can wear forever! Not just for one season!

When and how did your company come to life?

Bella Contessa Designs came to life during a time when I was being laid off from my full time job. I’ve always been a creative person and in love with clothing and accessories! So I took jewelry designing classes, went to estate sales and really studied trends and fashion!

What’s your ultimate dream for your company?

My ultimate dream is to own several retail stores! The first would be a beading store. Other ideas are in the works though!

What do you think of the DC Metropolitan Area style?

I think DC is so interesting. Largely because during the week we all wear suits (black, blue, brown and grey) but on the weekends, it’s all about color and creativity!
