100-degree weather and post-storm craziness didn’t stop Dewdrop swappers from coming out to our summer Tangerine Tango Swap. Of course, some seeked refuge at Vapiano in Bethesda Row for some air conditioning and delicious drinks—and complemented by some swapping fun? Definitely my type of crowd—we can look cute and use our noggin, too.

The afternoon started off with fabulous raffle prizes donated by Bethesda Row retailers and beyond. I think everyone (including me) was a wee bit jealous of the winner of the Trina Turk  pendant necklace worth $250 donated by Urban Chic. And one swapper won not one, not two, but FOUR raffle prizes—a Jaleo gift card, an American Tap Room gift card, a Paper Source private workshop class, AND a private Tango dance lesson—she definitely has a lot of date nights up ahead.

The crowd rushed in as soon as they got the green light. Everyone had a great time! We loved hearing comments like “quality clothing,” “friendly crowd” and “lovely experience!” That’s what we aim to do!
