Today more than ever, “mature” women are indulging in the latest and greatest fashion trends. No longer are these women bound by traditional beliefs associated with how a woman should dress once she reaches 35. The only limitations they face are the ones they place on themselves.

The way you dress says a lot about you. Once we reach a certain age, society expects us to fall in line, play it safe. I say “do you.” If you have the hutzpah, the right frame of mind and a great attitude, go ahead and rock that over the knee leather skirt with a banging sexy top & heels.

The thing to keep in mind is, “everything in moderation.” Yes, you can wear that hip, leather skirt, but let’s keep it classy. A form-fitting, not too short skirt paired with the right blouse and accessories would set the tone right for a woman of any age. There’s a lot that can be learned from the Gen-X crowd. These young women are bold, beautiful and full of confidence-youth has a way of making these traits easy to possess. Baby Boomers take note: age has a way of bringing out your best qualities as well. You have a healthy acceptance of your body, confidence that comes only with time and experience and that I don’t have to prove anything to anyone attitude!
